I have the same question I would suggest you to try temporarily disabling the firewall and check if the issue persists, so that we can know bitt firewall is blocking the required ports.

This occurs whether the device is on and plugged into any of the USB ports or not plugged in at all. Trying to install the driver again to get it to create the virtual port matching the port the printer server shows the device on always resulted in an error of 0x2. These aren’t digitally signed drivers for Windows 7, if it prompts you, allow the install still. Don’t believe me, call or email chat and ask the questions for yourself, ZEBRA corporate should be aware of these guys who are denigrating their product and name.
