Set up Belkin F5D7051 on Ubuntu

I saw velkin similar device F7D listed on the HCL, but the instructions looked complicated enough that I didn’t want to risk doing it for this one. Any thoughts at all? Might just be something with newer kernels but mine have worked fine for well over a year.
